About Agent Plugins Hub: what this site is

Agent Plugins Hub is an independent directory and learning resource for the open Agent Plugins package format. It exists to make public plugin packages easier to inspect: each directory entry points back to a source repository, records the package path and upstream revision, and separates verified facts from editorial explanation.

The site is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Agent Plugins project, its Technical Steering Committee, GitHub, Microsoft, OpenAI, Anthropic, or any plugin publisher unless a page explicitly says otherwise and links to evidence.

Maintainer

The site is maintained by the Agent Plugins Hub Editorial Team under the public GitHub account chenmiaohero. This page does not claim employment, certifications, partnerships, or other credentials that have not been independently published and verified.

Technical standards are interpreted from their primary documentation. Product-specific instructions are checked against the relevant vendor documentation before publication.

Why the directory exists

Agent packages are easy to describe loosely and difficult to compare precisely. “Plugin,” “Skill,” and “MCP server” are often used as if they mean the same thing. The directory therefore focuses on three practical questions:

• Where is the original source?
• What portable components are actually present?
• What must a person review before installing or enabling the package?

The directory does not manufacture install counts, ratings, user totals, security guarantees, or popularity claims.

Data sources

Published records are assembled from public, linkable sources:

• upstream GitHub repositories and their public metadata;
• a recorded repository branch, package directory, and source revision;
• plugin.json, SKILL.md, mcp.json, licenses, and repository documentation;
• the Agent Plugins website, version 1.0.0 specification, and machine-readable schemas;
• vendor documentation when a guide describes a particular client.

Repository stars are shown only where a real GitHub snapshot is available. Stars represent attention on GitHub; they are not installs, quality scores, endorsements, or security reviews.

Publication and review rules

Every public directory entry must have a reachable source repository, a meaningful package or component, a traceable publisher, and enough documentation to describe it without inventing missing facts. Reviewers record source attribution and avoid copying README material beyond what is licensed or reasonably necessary for explanation.

A submitted repository is private and pending by default. An editor checks its source, ownership, license, package structure, documentation, category, and safety-sensitive behavior before deciding whether to approve it, request changes, or reject it. Approval creates no automatic “official” status.

The official label has a narrower rule: the public upstream repository must demonstrate that the package is maintained by the named project or publisher, or by the Agent Plugins project organization. A conforming community package is still community-maintained.

Updates and change history

Catalog pages are regenerated from the reviewed catalog and may also use stored GitHub metadata. Repository synchronization records when upstream metadata was last checked. Editorial pages display their publication or review date, and substantive corrections update the page-level modified date.

The site intentionally publishes a small reviewed set before expanding. Empty categories and unpublished drafts are not added to the sitemap.

Corrections, removals, and contact

To report an inaccurate source, publisher relationship, category, date, security statement, or other factual error, email support@agentplugin.net. Include the page URL, the statement in question, and a primary source that supports the correction.

Repository owners may use the same address to request attribution changes or removal from this directory. A request affects this site only; it cannot remove the original information from GitHub or another source.

For a new plugin, use the plugin submission form. Please do not send credentials, private repositories, unpublished source code, or other sensitive material.
